Joy Schnoebelen, OD

Dr. Joy Schnoebelen received her Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree in 2025 from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. During her training she spent time at the Wyoming, Michigan VA doing routine and medical eye exams on veterans. She also trained in a primary care office treating patients in the Kansas City, MO area. Dr. Schnoebelen received her Bachelors of Science in Health Sciences at Drake University in Des Moines, IA. She joined Kitsap Eye Physicians in 2025, and she is excited to provide care to the patients in Kitsap County.

Her clinical interests include completing comprehensive eye exams to monitor patients’ ocular health and giving patients their clearest vision through glasses and contact lenses. She values patient education and making sure patients leave more informed about their eye health.

Dr. Schnoebelen is a member of the American Optometric Associate and the Optometric Physicians of Washington.

When not in the office, Dr. Schnoebelen enjoys exploring the beautiful outdoors of Washington, spending time with her dogs, and finding new recipes to cook in the kitchen.
