Dr. Preston Sullivan is a comprehensive ophthalmologist committed to preserving and restoring your vision. While his primary interest is the treatment of cataracts, he is a highly trained, experienced and compassionate medical doctor focused on meeting all of your eye care needs.
He was born in La Jolla, California, and raised in suburbs of Los Angeles. After graduating magna cum laude from the University of Southern California, he attended Dartmouth Medical School in New Hampshire. His training in ophthalmology was completed at the Cleveland Clinics’ Cole Eye Institute, consistently ranked in the top ten programs in the U.S. A lifelong learner, Dr. Sullivan continues to hone his clinical and surgical acumen by attending local and national meetings, technology workshops, and regular interactions with national experts and thought leaders. He is passionate about helping patients see their best, with unwavering dedication, integrity, and thoughtful use of state-of-the-art technology.
In 2002 he headed to the Northwest to begin clinical practice, start a family, and explore the many natural treasures and cultural opportunities in our backyard. Fishing, skiing, cooking, and raising two young boys, who are the apple of his eye, fill most of his spare time.
Dr. Sullivan is board certified, and a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. His memberships include Phi Beta Kappa, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the Washington Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons.
