Meet Our Doctors

Dr. Holdren graduated with honors from the University of Washington Medical School in 1990. He completed his internship and residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Chapel Hill, NC. He joined Kitsap Eye Physicians in private practice in 1994.

Dr. Sorensen received his M.D. degree from Loyola University. Upon completion of medical school, he accepted a commission in the United States Army.

After completing his internship at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, he served as a Flight Surgeon with the Aviation Warfighting Center in Alabama. While there, he was selected to a position as a clinic chief. He also rose to the position of brigade surgeon for the Aviation Training Brigade.

Dr. Gagnon received his OD degree with Honors from the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry in 2000. As part of his training, he spent time treating active duty patients at Beale Air Force Base in Northern California in addition to treating veterans at the American Lake Veterans Administration in Tacoma, WA. Dr. Gagnon joined Kitsap Eye Physicians in 2000, excited to begin his career delivering high quality primary optometric services to Kitsap County.

Optometrist Dr. Debra Sorensen earned her degree in biology at Lewis University in Illinois in 1998, then received her Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree in 1992 from the Illinois School of Optometry. Dr. Sorensen joined Kitsap Eye Physicians in 2011.

Dr. Hardaway grew up in Maple Valley, WA, graduated with distinction from the US Naval Academy, and earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine at the Uniformed Services University in Bethesda, MD. After an internship in Internal Medicine at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, he completed flight training in Pensacola, FL and served as Flight Surgeon and Head of Naval Air Reserve Medicine at Naval Air Station Whidby Island, WA.
